'Manufacture Roland Dupin' was founded in Zurich in 1976. Dupin instruments, oboe, english horn and oboe d'amore, are handmade. In the last decade of the 20th century, Roland Dupin and his son Christophe were able to considerably ameliorate the sound and the pitch of their instruments. Subsequently the atelier gained a worldwide reputation. 'Manufacture Dupin' also has developed new instruments like the 'Imperial Oboe' and the 'Barock Oboe'.
